How often do I have to change out my artwork?
You can change your artwork as many times as you like, and each time it must be approved by IAA and the relevant airport authority through IAA. Otherwise it is every 2–3 years or sooner if your artwork becomes faded. Scrolling signs are required to be changed out every 12 months.
Why do I have to change my scrolling sign every year?
The nature of the scrolling sign means that your artwork is under far more street than a normal static sign. Your artwork becomes fragile after a whole year of constant motion and heat from the lighting. To ensure everyone’s artwork looks fresh and that you’re getting the best possible exposure for your advertising, we require you to change out at least once per year. This is detailed in the separate “scroller Rider” document you signed at the outset of your agreement.
Why do I have to use IAA preferred printers for my scrolling sign prints?
River City Signs in NZ and PDF in AU print all of our scrolling signs in their respective countries. This is quite a specialised process due to the extreme stresses the artwork is under. They also guarantee that your artwork will last 12 months in the machine, meaning any breakages in the time resulting from faulty artwork will be covered by them, not by you. Due to the bulk of work that we put through to these printers you’ll get the best possible deal, for the finest quality work.
